How do Google Drive files work in notes?

Connect Google Drive and link Drive files in notes; they stay in Drive and don't use your Granite storage.

  1. Open Settings → Google Drive and connect your Google account.

  2. In a note, choose Tools → Insert from Google Drive and pick a file.

The file appears in the note as a card with Drive's logo. It stays in Google Drive: Granite stores only a link, so it doesn't count toward your storage, and Drive's own sharing decides who can open it.
