How do I connect Claude?

Add Granite as a custom connector in Claude, sign in, and choose which vaults Claude may use.

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.

  2. Enter the address https://mcp.granite.md/mcp and add it.

  3. Choose Connect. A Granite window opens: sign in.

  4. Pick which vaults Claude may use, and whether it may only read or also write. Approve.

Now ask Claude about your notes, for example "What did we decide about pricing last month?" Claude searches only the vaults you allowed and cites the notes it used.

The remote MCP server is part of Pro and Business. On Free, use the local MCP server.
