A device is each browser, computer, or phone you sign in on. See them all in Settings → Devices, with the platform, app version, and when each was last used.
To free up a spot, or if you lost a device, choose Sign out next to it. Sign out all other devices is under the list. Changing your password also signs out your other devices.
