Granite
Sync and offline

Can I sync a folder from a terminal or server?

Use the granite command to keep a folder in sync from a terminal, a server, or a script.

Yes, with the granite command. It runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows, and is handy for servers, backups, and scripts.

  1. Install it with Homebrew: brew install inhaus-team/granite/granite. Or use the script or Windows download on the Download page.

  2. Sign in: granite login.

  3. Keep a vault and a folder in sync: granite sync -watch Notes ~/Notes. Leave out -watch to sync once and stop.

brew install inhaus-team/granite/granite
granite login
granite sync -watch Notes ~/Notes

The same command runs the local MCP server for AI tools. See Can AI tools use my notes offline?
