How do I capture with Apple Shortcuts?

Capture to Granite from the share sheet, Siri, or a widget on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Included on Free.

  1. In Settings → Integrations, install Apple Shortcuts. Copy the Granite URL and your action key.

  2. In the Shortcuts app, create a shortcut and add Get Contents of URL with the Granite URL.

  3. Set Method to POST, add the header Authorization with Bearer and your action key, and a JSON body: action set to capture, and content set to the Shortcut Input.

  4. Turn on Show in Share Sheet.

Now share a web page, a photo caption, or a text selection to the shortcut, ask Siri to run it, or add it as a widget. Whatever you send lands in your inbox note.
