Insert a table with the table button on the formatting bar. Granite shows it as a real table even while you edit, so you type straight into the cells, just like in Obsidian. Under the hood it's still a plain Markdown table.
Moving around
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tab / Shift + Tab | Next or previous cell |
| Enter | The cell below; in the last row, adds a new row |
| Arrow keys | Move between rows, and out of the table above or below |
| Ctrl/⌘ + Z | Undo |
Rows, columns, and alignment
With the cursor in a table, the formatting bar shows table tools: + Row, + Column, − Row, − Column, and align left, center, or right.
A table ends at the first line that has no |. Text you type under a table stays normal text and doesn't become a new row.
