What is a workspace?
A workspace is your company's space in Granite, on the Business plan. It holds shared vaults, members, groups, and admin settings such as single sign-on, security policies, and the audit log. Each workspace has its own encryption key.
What can each role do?
You give people or groups access to a whole vault or one folder, as readers, commenters, editors, or admins. Readers can view, commenters can also comment, editors can change notes, and admins can also manage who has access.
How do I give a team access at once?
Create a group in the workspace, add people to it, and give the group access to a vault or folder. With SCIM, groups and members can follow your identity provider automatically.
Can I share with people outside my company?
Yes, as guests. Guests can view and comment for free and don't need a seat. Pro allows 3 guests per vault, and Business allows any number.
How do I publish a note as a public link?
Open the note's menu and choose to publish it. Anyone with the link can read it on the web; unpublish it any time from the same menu. Free includes 3 published notes; Pro and Business have no limit.
How do I delete a workspace?
Workspace owners can delete a workspace from its settings. It is purged 30 days later, so a mistake can still be undone, and then its key is destroyed so nothing it held can be decrypted again.
